ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF EXTREME RISK I voluntarily choose to participate in the SenderLand 2026 Freestyle Cliff Jumping Competition. I understand that freestyle cliff jumping is an extreme sport involving intentional jumps from elevated platforms and structures into a natural body of water. I acknowledge that participation involves obvious, inherent, and unforeseeable risks that cannot be completely eliminated, even with proper supervision, safety personnel, or equipment. I understand these risks include, but are not limited to: - Jumping from significant heights into water - Improper body position or water entry resulting in severe impact - Spinal cord injuries, paralysis, traumatic brain injury, or death - Broken bones, dislocations, sprains, strains, lacerations, and internal injuries - Drowning or near drowning - Cold water shock or hypothermia - Strong currents or changing water conditions - Changing water depth - Underwater rocks, debris, submerged objects, or hidden hazards - Contact with cliffs, platforms, docks, boats, buoys, or safety equipment - Missing the intended landing zone - Collision with other competitors, staff, spectators, photographers, safety personnel, or watercraft - Delayed rescue due to environmental conditions - Weather-related hazards including rain, lightning, wind, waves, reduced visibility, and slippery surfaces - Medical emergencies occurring before, during, or after a jump - Permanent disability or death I understand that these risks may result from my own actions, the actions of others, environmental conditions, equipment failure, or circumstances that cannot reasonably be anticipated. I knowingly and voluntarily assume ALL RISKS, both known and unknown, associated with my participation. 2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY & COVENANT NOT TO SUE In consideration for being permitted to participate, I voluntarily RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE SenderLand LLC, its owners, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, landowners, property owners, event organizers, judges, safety divers, rescue personnel, lifeguards, medical providers, vendors, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, attorney's fees, and expenses of any kind or nature — whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen — arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Freestyle Cliff Jumping Competition or any related activity, including but not limited to practice sessions, warm-ups, course inspections, staging areas, and all time spent on event grounds. 3. SWIMMING ABILITY & WATER COMPETENCY I certify that I am a competent swimmer and physically capable of safely participating in this competition. I understand that safety personnel cannot guarantee my safety, that rescue efforts may not be immediate, and that I remain solely responsible for my own decisions before, during, and after every jump. 4. PHYSICAL CONDITION & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY I certify that I am physically and mentally fit to compete. I further certify that I do not have any known medical condition — including heart disease, seizures, respiratory disorders, balance disorders, significant neck or spinal injuries, or other conditions — that would make participation unsafe. I understand that I am solely responsible for determining whether each jump is within my abilities, and I agree not to attempt any jump beyond my skill level. 5. COURSE CONDITIONS I understand that SenderLand does not guarantee the safety or condition of any platform, jump structure, landing area, body of water, safety equipment, or competition course. Natural water conditions may change at any time due to weather, current, debris, water level, visibility, or other environmental factors. I voluntarily accept these risks. 6. SAFETY RULES I agree to: attend all mandatory safety briefings; follow all instructions from officials and safety personnel; wait for official clearance before each jump; use only designated jump areas; immediately report unsafe conditions; and conduct myself in a safe and sportsmanlike manner. Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the competition without refund. 7. ALCOHOL & DRUG POLICY I certify that I am not under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any medication that may impair my judgment, coordination, reaction time, or ability to safely participate. SenderLand reserves the right to remove any participant suspected of impairment, without refund. 8. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION If I become injured, unconscious, or otherwise unable to make medical decisions, I authorize SenderLand and its representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment on my behalf. I understand that I am solely responsible for all medical expenses, transportation costs, hospital fees, and related expenses arising from my participation. 9. PERSONAL PROPERTY SenderLand assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to my personal property, including clothing, cameras, electronics, equipment, or other belongings, anywhere on event grounds. 10. MEDIA RELEASE I grant SenderLand LLC the unrestricted right to photograph, video record, livestream, reproduce, publish, edit, distribute, and use my name, image, voice, and likeness in any promotional, advertising, marketing, broadcast, or commercial materials without compensation or additional approval. 11. REMOVAL FROM COMPETITION SenderLand reserves the right to remove or disqualify any competitor for: unsafe conduct; failure to follow instructions; unsportsmanlike behavior; reckless jumping; fighting or harassment; property damage; intoxication or impairment; or conduct that endangers themselves or others. Removal may occur without refund or compensation. 12. INDEMNIFICATION I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SenderLand LLC and all released parties from any claims, lawsuits, damages, liabilities, costs, or attorney's fees arising from my actions or participation in this event. 13. AGE REQUIREMENT Participants under eighteen (18) years of age must have this waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to all terms on behalf of the minor participant. The parent or guardian must be present on event grounds at all times. 14. GOVERNING LAW & SEVERABILITY This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. 15. ACKNOWLEDGMENT By signing below, I acknowledge that: I have carefully read this entire Agreement; I fully understand its contents; I understand I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue; I sign this Agreement freely and voluntarily without coercion; and I intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
