SenderLand 2026 — Freestyle Mountain Bike Best Trick Competition Athlete Liability Waiver, Release & Indemnification Agreement Version: 2026-mtb-v2 | Governing Law: State of New Hampshire 1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION I am voluntarily and willingly participating in the Freestyle Mountain Bike Best Trick Competition and all related activities at SenderLand 2026, including but not limited to practice sessions, warm-ups, course inspections, feature demonstrations, staging areas, loading zones, and all competition-related activities on the event grounds. I understand I may withdraw at any time before attempting a trick, and that my participation is entirely my own choice. 2. EXPANDED ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand and acknowledge that participating in this competition exposes me to serious and potentially fatal risks, not only from performing tricks, but from all conditions and activities surrounding the event, including: COMPETITION RISKS: Falls from height during aerial tricks and jumps; hard, awkward, or failed landings; high-speed crashes on take-off or landing; bicycle malfunction or component failure mid-trick; collision with ramps, features, kickers, obstacles, or structures; collision with other competitors making unpredictable movements; traumatic brain injury; head, neck, back, and spinal cord injuries; broken bones, lacerations, and soft tissue injuries; serious injury, permanent disability, or death. EVENT ENVIRONMENT RISKS: Changing or severe weather conditions including rain, wind, heat, cold, lightning, and reduced visibility; wet, muddy, or dusty riding surfaces; uneven terrain throughout the venue; spectators, photographers, or media personnel in or near the competition area; volunteers, staff, and vehicles moving equipment and infrastructure around the venue; heavy equipment, machinery, and ramps being staged or repositioned; lighting conditions that may change during competition; electrical equipment and amplified sound systems. I voluntarily and knowingly assume ALL risks, known and unknown, arising from any aspect of my participation, whether or not those risks are listed above. 3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY & COVENANT NOT TO SUE I RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE SenderLand LLC, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, landowners, equipment providers, ramp builders, event organizers, safety personnel, medical personnel, photographers, media crews, and all affiliates (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss of any kind arising from or connected to my participation in the Freestyle Mountain Bike Best Trick Competition or any related activities, whether caused by negligence (including ordinary negligence) or otherwise. 4. NO WARRANTY OF SAFETY I understand that SenderLand does not guarantee the safety or condition of any course, jump, landing, feature, obstacle, ramp, equipment, or competition area. I accept all risks arising from their use regardless of inspection, construction, or approval by any official. I am solely responsible for inspecting any feature before I attempt it and for deciding whether it is safe for me to attempt. 5. INDEMNIFICATION I agree to INDEMNIFY and HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, judgments, attorney's fees, costs, and damages of any kind arising out of or connected to my actions, conduct, or participation in this event, including claims brought by third parties. 6. MEDICAL TREATMENT AUTHORIZATION If I become injured, unconscious, or otherwise unable to make medical decisions, I authorize SenderLand and its representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment on my behalf. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for all medical costs, expenses, and bills incurred as a result of my participation. 7. EQUIPMENT & PROTECTIVE GEAR I am solely responsible for ensuring my bicycle and all protective gear (helmet, pads, body armor, gloves, etc.) are in safe working condition and appropriate for competition. A properly fitted, certified helmet is mandatory — failure to wear required protective equipment will result in immediate removal from competition without refund or compensation. I accept all risk associated with equipment failure or inadequate protective gear. 8. WEATHER & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS I acknowledge that SenderLand is an outdoor event and that weather conditions including rain, wind, heat, cold, lightning, changing visibility, or other environmental conditions may increase the risk of injury. I voluntarily assume these risks and agree that SenderLand's decisions regarding weather delays or cancellations are final. 9. PERSONAL PROPERTY SenderLand LLC is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or destruction of bicycles, equipment, tools, clothing, electronics, or any other personal property, whether left in competition areas, staging areas, parking, or anywhere on event grounds. 10. DRUG & ALCOHOL CERTIFICATION I certify that I am not, and will not be, under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any prescription or over-the-counter medication that may impair my judgment, reaction time, or ability to safely compete. Violation of this condition is grounds for immediate removal from the competition without refund. 11. RIDER CONDUCT & REMOVAL I agree to follow all safety briefings, competition rules, and instructions from event staff and competition officials at all times. SenderLand reserves the right to immediately disqualify or remove any competitor for: reckless or unsafe riding; intentionally dangerous behavior; intoxication; fighting or threatening conduct; damaging equipment or venue property; failure to follow safety instructions; or any other conduct that endangers others. Removal is without refund or compensation. 12. PHYSICAL FITNESS & READINESS I confirm that I am in good physical health and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. I am solely responsible for determining my own readiness and skill level, and I will not attempt any maneuver that exceeds my abilities. 13. MEDIA RELEASE I grant SenderLand LLC the right to photograph, film, record, livestream, and broadcast my participation and likeness for use in promotional, marketing, media, and social content, now and in the future, without additional consent or compensation. 14. MINORS Competitors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign this waiver on their behalf and be present on event grounds at all times. Unaccompanied minors will not be permitted to compete. 15. SEVERABILITY If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. 16. GOVERNING LAW This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. 17. ENTIRE AGREEMENT This waiver constitutes the entire agreement between me and SenderLand LLC regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements. I acknowledge that no oral representations have been made to me that are inconsistent with this written agreement. 18. ACKNOWLEDGMENT By signing below, I confirm: I have read this entire waiver; I fully understand its contents; I am giving up substantial legal rights including the right to sue SenderLand LLC and all Released Parties; I am at least 18 years of age (or my parent/guardian has signed below); and I voluntarily and freely agree to be legally bound by all terms and conditions.
